The excursion usually starts at Rychtarka coach park (other meeting points available).
Historical sights to be seen during the guided tour: The Square of Republic - Town Hall, the Plague Column and the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew, historical town houses at the square (mostly in baroque and renessance styles); modern hotel Central and expressing modern art-fountains etc.
Jewish Synagogue at Klatovská Street - third biggest synagogue in the world, Theatre of Josef Kajetan Tyl - a beautiful Neo-Renaissance building.
Smetana Yards with the Research and Science Library in the building of former Convent of Dominican Nuns. Franciscan Monastery - the oldest local complex (as the legend says, the building is older than the town Pilsen). The West Bohemian Museum - one of the town’s dominants, situated in а very calm locality between the Smetana Yards and the Křižík Yards.
The Butcher’s shop from 14th century, the Water Tower from 16th century, and the remains of the town walls.
The guided tour is usually finished at The Square of Republic.
